In 2003 Ceramicx successfully undertook a contract to develop a number of patents in the area of infrared technology for Applica for the consumer goods market. Ceramicx successfully completed this project with a number of patents resulting in the following areas.

• Perfect Cooker
• Popcorn Maker
• Hot water generator
• Wrinkle remover
• Wrinkle remover with steam
• Curling Iron
• Muscle relaxer/massager

Applica hold any of the patents that were produced in these areas but Ceramicx receives a continuous income associated with these products being sold. John Morehead – Wain Morehead Architects

In mid 2010 Ceramicx started working with John Morehead of Wain Morehead Architects in the development of heaters for Passivhaus infrared heaters that fit into their standards. Please see www.wma.ie for more details. Ceramicx has recently come to an agreement with John Morehead whereby John will act as a designer for all interior models of Infrared Heaters for Ceramicx. He will also support the scientific testing and marketing campaigns of these products. This will ensure that all of Ceramicx comfort product for interior use will be focused with respect to energy usage and esthetic architectural design.
