Infrared is not a readily understood topic. It is not a subject covered in any detail as part of any engineering degree courses worldwide. Ceramicx offers a training course in the application of infrared heat in order to teach their distributors to solve complex industrial infrared heating problems. This training is currently a 3 day course offered on-site at Infrared Heat Consultants Ceramicx Ireland and it is free of charge to any Ceramicx distributors.

There are plans to develop this course further as a certificate, diploma and finally a MSC course. Funding is currently being applied for under Marie Curie in order to makes this plan a reality.
