Quartz Element Installation
The standard Quartz elements are installed as shown in Diagram 1, using two M5 x 30mm screws which extend from the rear of the heater.
The pillared Quartz elements are equipped with a special dust pressed pillar allowing them to be installed just like the Ceramic elements (diagram 2).
The pillar is pushed through a slot (42mm x 15mm) in the reflector.
A stainless steel spring is placed down over the pillar and a clip is slid into position to retain the element.

In moving systems, the heater tubes should be at right angles to the direction of movement.
