Aquecedores de Quartzo e Tungstenio

O fio de aquecimento usado neste tipo de aquecedor é de tungsténio e é enrolado na forma duma estrela. O tungsténio pode atingir uma temperatura de 1500°C (2732°F). O fio feito desta maneira é rigido e reduz ao mínimo a radiação da luz visível, aumentando a emissão do infravermelho.
