Ceramic Infrared Bulbs
Ceramic Edision Screw Elements (ESEB, ESES, ESER, ESEXL) are industry standard infrared bulbs and infrared lamps used primarily in the area of reptile/animal/pet health care. For infrared bulbs UK and Ireland, these ceramic bulbs provide the infrared heat required without any of the negative effects of a light output that can disturb the day/night sleeping cycle of the reptile/animal. Ceramicx hollow cast bulbs consist of a high temperature FeCrAl resistance alloy embedded in a specially formulated ceramic body allowing operating temperature up to 530degC and a maximum power of 400W (ESEXL Model Only). The face of the ESE is circular and convex in design, producing a circular outward trending radiant output.
Ceramicx infrared heat consultants are highly committed to the research and development surrounding its component lines which also has the capacity to inform the applications engineering side of its business. We have developed test and evaluation facilities focused on Infrared heating energy that are the first of their kind. These test and evaluation facilities have been developed in conjunction with Trinity College Dublin as part of an Innovation partnership program funded by Enterprise Ireland and Ceramicx. These test and evaluation facilities allow Ceramicx to evaluate the infrared energy (watts per centimeters squared) outputted from their heaters as well as produce energy efficient industrial heaters. Temperature and Thermocouples have always been a poor method of evaluating the performance of Infrared emitters. Ceramicx can now build on their research facilitating more infrared energy produced at a lower temperatures allowing more energy efficient processing.
