Infrared Research & Development Ovens

For industry manufacturers in need of fast and consistent testing at their own premises, Ceramicx has the resources to build custom research and development ovens for specific materials testing – large or small.

These testing ovens allow thorough examination of how your materials respond to infrared heat sources, and how this response varies with our radiation technology. With inbuilt control systems, material temperatures are controlled by optical pyrometers – ideal for research and development projects for prototypes and high temperature testing across a range of materials.

Ceramicx research and development ovens are designed for your testing requirements. Purpose-built with a combination of elements & features, we know how infrared can be used to its best ability depending on the operational tests required from a customer.

Using this information, Ceramicx will custom-build an R&D oven to suit your material testing requirements. With the inclusion of Ceramicx industry standard or custom infrared heating elements, a purpose-built R&D oven will give you infrared heat with intuitive, precision control for testing accuracy.

Fully customised to suit your testing requirements, your bespoke stand-alone research and development oven can be built using a welded stainless steel framework together with specialist insulation for high temperature testing is required. With easy access to internal infrared heat chambers, your oven can include multiple heat zones to accommodate your chosen infrared element type.

Our engineering team will take your requirements to custom build your oven with bespoke features integral to your testing process, including complete custom controls, concentration of heat direction, remote monitoring, element failure detection, and bespoke safety features.

As a standalone R&D oven, it will give you a highly efficient and cost-effective in-house testing facility with low running costs and accurate infrared heating and control, including:

Industrial Infrared Research and Development Ovens

  • Aerospace Industrial R&D Furnace Oven

Weco International, our business partner in the United States introduced us to the client, a private aerospace manufacturer that provides spaceflight services. The client needed a heating system that could replicate the conditions of atmospheric re-entry in a controlled setting.
