Welcoming Weco International to West Cork

Kicking off the year strongly, we were delighted to welcome Brett Wehner and Randy Socha this week from Weco International to our factory for a two-day visit, travelling all the way from Michigan to Cork. The visit marked a positive and productive start to the year.

Brett last visited us in 2023, and it was great to reconnect in person and build on the progress made since then. This trip marked Randy’s first visit to Ceramicx since joining Weco. While new to the company, Randy brings many years of technical experience from the plastics industry, adding valuable depth and perspective to the discussions.

Across the two days, we explored a broad range of topics including sales performance, market trends, logistics, marketing activity, ongoing product development, and plans looking ahead to 2026. These conversations highlighted the strong alignment between our teams and reinforced the exciting opportunities and projects ahead for Weco.

Weco first began working with Ceramicx in 2000, following a requirement for quartz infrared heaters—and they have not looked back since. Over more than two decades, the partnership has continued to grow, built on collaboration, technical expertise, and a shared commitment to infrared innovation.

Visits like these are invaluable, allowing for face-to-face discussions that strengthen relationships while reflecting on progress and setting a clear direction for the future.
