Ceramic Edison Screw Elements (ESE) are industry-standard ceramic heat lamps widely used in reptile, animal, and pet care environments. These durable ceramic infrared heat emitters provide steady, long-lasting warmth without producing visible light. Each ceramic heat emitter is available in white, yellow, or black glaze.
Unlike traditional bulbs, infrared heat does not warm the air. Instead, the infrared waves pass through the air and are absorbed directly by the animal’s skin and body tissues, delivering deep, natural warmth similar to the sun’s radiant heat. This makes ceramic heat lamps highly effective for supporting thermoregulation, digestion, and overall wellbeing in reptiles and other exotic pets.
