The Pillared Full Quartz Infrared Heater (PFQE) is a high-performance medium to long-wave quartz infrared heating element designed to deliver energy-efficient radiant heat for a wide range of industrial process heating applications. Operating within the 1.5–8 micron wavelength range, it provides rapid heat-up and cool-down times, making it ideal for manufacturing processes that require fast, precise temperature control.
Constructed with a high-temperature resistance wire sealed inside durable quartz glass tubes and housed in a highly reflective aluminised steel casing with a pillar mount, the PFQE ensures uniform heat distribution and excellent thermal efficiency.
The ceramic pillar mounting system incorporates integrated screw terminals for simple electrical connections. However, for environments subject to high levels of vibration or mechanical movement, standard quartz elements are generally recommended, as their metal stud mounting offers greater resistance to mechanical shock than ceramic pillars.
Available in power ratings from 250W to 1,000W, the PFQE Heater is widely used in plastic thermoforming, drying, heat shrink, laminating, conveying and other industrial applications where consistent medium-wave infrared heat is essential. Its fast thermal response helps improve production efficiency while reducing process downtime, making it suitable for both new equipment and replacement heating systems.
