The Quartz Tungsten Short (QTS) Infrared Heating Element is a medium wave, linear quartz tungsten infrared emitter designed for fast-response industrial heating applications. Engineered for precision and efficiency, the tungsten heating coil is designed to minimize light output and maximize IR emission thereby increasing IR radiant efficiency.
Quartz Tungsten infrared heating elements are widely used in plastic thermoforming, composite curing, adhesive bonding, preheating, drying, and other industrial processes requiring fast, efficient infrared heating. Their rapid thermal response and concentrated heat output make them well suited to continuous production lines and applications with short cycle times.
Available power rating of 750W, the tungsten filament used in these fast medium wave heaters is the porcupine or star type coil.
