Quartz Tungsten Infrared Tube Heaters
Designed for fast thermal response industrial heat applications, these linear quartz tungsten heating elements give high power performance with a rapid reaction time. Operating on the medium wavelength, they’re an alternative to the quartz cassette-style emitters. Available in small, medium, and large sizes, the standard quartz tungsten heating elements use a porcupine or star type coil filament. Operating to temperatures up to 1500°C (2732°F), they have a peak emission wavelength of ∼ 1.6 microns with a maximum power output of 2000W (QTL model only). Each QTS, QTM and QTL element is fitted with industry-standard R7s terminations. With a suitable R7s holder at both ends, they’re used to mount the heater and provide the 240V electrical connection. Reflectors are also available for these elements. A range of non-standard power outputs, voltage ratings, and termination types are available on request.
