The Half Quartz Infrared Heater (HQE) is a high-performance medium to long-wave infrared heating element designed to deliver instant, radiant heat for a wide range of industrial process applications. Engineered for rapid heat-up and cool-down, this heater provides improved production efficiency and delivers reliable performance in demanding manufacturing environments.
Emitting infrared radiation within the 1.5–8 micron wavelength range, this element consists of a high temperature resistance wire enclosed in durable quartz glass tubes and mounted within a highly reflective aluminised steel housing. This robust construction ensures excellent heat transfer, uniform radiant heat distribution and an exceptionally fast thermal response, heating up and cooling down in seconds.
Available in power ratings from 200W to 500W, this industry-standard quartz infrared heater is widely used in thermoforming, drying and applications where fast, consistent infrared heat is essential. It is suitable for new equipment and replacement heating systems.
